THE ROBERTSON FAMILY

And another addition to the family...

And yet another vehicle to throw into our ever rotating garage of cars.  We traded the Durango in on another Dodge Truck. This one is 4WD and very very tall.  Need to add some nerf bars so that people can actually get in and out of it easier.  Plus need to get a truck topper so we can throw the dogs in the back.  It's paint isn't jet black it kind of has a glitter to it.  Really pretty up close.  Mike likes it a lot--takes a lot of time to polish this one up though.

We are now the proud owner of a "salsa red" volkswagen jetta.  Finally traded in the old Chrysler for a better work car.  A lot better on gas and it had better not need to have a jump box carried inside in case it doesn't want to start!!  It's a fun little car to drive and a pretty quick little 5 cylinder engine.  It's black leather inside and pretty nice.  Of course the girls thought the sunroof was the best feature.  Better they hang out of it now and not when they are teenagers!!  Kicking the Durango out of the garage since it's now the oldest vehicle.  (Jo will love scraping ice every morning this winter!)

Holy moly Jo gave me my own page.Man will I mess this up.

Jolene and her updates

As everyone knows the true key to a cool car is the wheels. Now granted you have to start with somewhat of a neater car. Example, if you own a 1998 Chrysler Concorde in gold, DO NOT go for the chrome wheels and painted calipers. This will get you a free trip to the ghetto. Always set limits to your customizing.

Red calipers to match the leather trim in the interior.

You must have a parking spot.

Jo thinks i'm a nut, but you must have a spot to park your cool car. I took a pencil and drew out the Saturn from the car. Painted it with some Red Devil oil base paint. Turned out really good. And now I always have a place, Oops, I mean Jo always has a place to park HER car.

Last step to a cool car.

Of course your car must know it's name. So if your sitting around with nothing to do start looking for a place that dosen't  stick out to much but is noticeable when showing it off. Under the hood is always a great spot. Ok sorry, enough about the car. On to other things.

The frog whisperer.

It would seem that Mikayla has a hidden talent. These are frogs that live in the backyard under the swing set. I think I deleted the picture where she has three or four sitting on her. They all have names and it's kind of like a little family under there. I find this very funny as her mother does not share the same love for the little creatures. If you didn't know, Jo does not like frogs. Just keep in mind if you think this is weird, it's cheaper than Barbies and you don't need to buy all the clothes, cars, and of course Ken and all his metrosexual junk. Be a man dude.
